Israel Travel: Things to Know Before Your Trip

More than 4 ½ million tourists visit Israel annually in recent times. If you want to add your name to the list of satisfied travelers, it is important to prepare yourself for the best possible experience. This cultural difference is most prominently seen in religious sectors of the large cities. Of course, you can find secular businesses open on these weekend days, too.

My work changed dramatically about 15 years ago. In hindsight it seems a rash thing to do but I have never regretted it.

5 – Get Ready to Spend Money

When it comes to vacation destinations around the world, Israel ranks high in the expense category. The cost of living is generally higher there than in other countries. Of course, it costs even more to visit a major city like Tel Aviv, which has recently pushed into the top 10 most expensive cities in the world. As a traveler, you will pay more for hotel accommodations, both restaurant and street food, transportation, and major attractions.

As long as you prepare yourself accordingly, Israel offers a wealth of historical, cultural, and modern experiences you will not regret.
